I’m wary of wedding favors after doing a lot of thrift store shopping this summer. You don’t know how many countless mugs, swans, ice buckets and numerous other discarded wedding favors I’ve come across.
My friend, in lieu of wedding favors, made a donation to the American Cancer Society and left a little card on each guest’s table saying so, with envelopes in case the guest would also like to donate. I think this is a great way to do favors nowadays, especially since so many people have enough posessions already. How many more ceramic swans will they need?
